What It Held

For more than a decade, this container sat quietly behind our store. It held donations, overflow stock, and pieces of the daily work that made the front of the store run smoothly.

We were told it had to go.

And so, after 15 years of doing things one way, we watched it get lifted and taken away.

It wasn’t just storage. It was part of our rhythm. A small, steady piece of how we stayed organized and served people. When it left, something in our day-to-day shifted too.

Change is part of life. But sometimes it isn’t progress. It’s loss, dressed up as improvement.
