Looking Back on the Do-Good Donation

One Thousand Dollars. Every Quarter. For Years.

We called it the “Do-Good Donation.”

Every three months, we donated $1,000 to a local non-profit doing important work in Windsor-Essex. No strings. No spotlight. Just support.

It was our way of saying: We see you. We’ve got your back.

From women’s shelters to youth groups, food programs to mental health services, this little store got to play a small part in something bigger.

As we wrap up our final month, we’ve been thinking a lot about this. How a thrift store — built on castoffs and second chances — could channel generosity into the community that built us.

That’s the legacy we’re proud of. 💖💛💙

  1. I was a frequent shopper and always left your store with bags full of amazing and affordable finds. Hope For a Cure was a hidden gem that I’ve spent many happy hours shopping at. The staff were always friendly and helpful!

I just wanted to compliment you all for consistantly helping our community. Your store, your staff, and your charitable support of Windsor will be greatly missed!
