Sometimes the story shifts in ways you don’t see coming.
In September, we were shown a smaller space at a lower rate. Something that looked workable, or at least worth considering.
So we asked questions.
We did the due diligence.
We tried to understand the plan.
Then months later, the offer returned as something entirely different:
a larger space, at a much higher cost, with none of the original structure attached.
Same building.
Same tenant.
Completely different terms.
That was the moment the path forward became clear. Not because of what was said, but because of what changed.
Some shifts are gradual.
Some are abrupt.
And some reveal the whole story without a single explanation.
