Legacy

Some places sell things.
Other places hold things.

Not the objects — the moments.

A kid discovering a VR headset in our toy aisle.
Another carrying a giant giraffe out the door like he’d found treasure.
Shelves of books that someone would flip through until they found the one that felt meant for them.
Rows of pillows, glassware, sweaters — everyday items that somehow became part of people’s lives.

For fifteen years, Community Thrift Store wasn’t just a store.
It was a gathering place.
A little pocket of Windsor where you could slow down, wander, talk, laugh, and feel connected — even for a minute.

We didn’t just lose a store.
We lost a place that helped people feel at home.
